Welcome to my website,

I am Lianne Sterk - van der Plaat, born in 1962, and I live and work in Hoogblokland, the Netherlands. Throughout my life, I have been fascinated by colors, materials, and the power of creation. From an early age, I expressed myself through textiles and sculpting, but it was only when I discovered painting that I found my true passion.

For me, painting is a craft, much like the old masters saw it. And I wanted to develop that craft. In 2014, I started the Realistic Fine Painting program at Art Partout in Deventer. First, I completed the basic training, followed by various specializations. But technique alone was not enough, I discovered that my work truly came to life when I allowed emotion to guide me. I paint with love and try to convey that love through my work. I want to radiate peace and harmony so that love can be felt.

With my paintings, I invite everyone to pause for a moment, to experience the beauty of simplicity and the power of love.
